Services
The original method of permanent hair removal, Electrolysis, is commonly referred to as the Galvanic method. It operates through a direct current that interacts with salt and water inside the follicle, producing a reaction that breaks down the papilla. This stops hair regrowth. Due to its time requirement of 3060 seconds per hair, it is seldom the only approach used.
Thermolysis
Report
Thermolysis, first introduced nearly a century ago, continues to set the standard for fast and effective electrolysis. Instead of direct current, it relies on high-frequency alternating current to generate heat, which coagulates the papilla and blocks future growth. Each follicle is treated in milliseconds, making it the quickest option for lasting hair removal.
Blend
Report
The dual or sequential method, also known as Blend, uses lower levels of Galvanic current together with Thermolysis to destroy the papilla. Thermolysis enhances and accelerates the Galvanic chemical reaction. This combined approach substantially reduces the treatment time for each hair, while still maintaining the distinct benefits of Thermolysis as part of the process.

Report
After years of PCOS and attacking my face with tweezers/wax/shaving, I had enough and looked into getting electrolysis. I'm so glad I found Maeve. After about a month of sessions, all the hairs that get treated are so fine that I barely feel them anymore, and some of them just don't seem to be coming back. I'm going to follow Maeve's recommendations and zap the bastards until they're gone for good, but even now I'm so much happier and letting Maeve spend 15-30 minutes saves me so much time on the daily.
