We have been serving Southern Maine and Kennebunkport as a premier hair salon for over a decade. Our Artistic Director, Sheryl Miller-Rideout, brings more than 20 years of experience in the hair art business, having traveled internationally with Paul Mitchell as his assistant. She later trained and managed his education teams and worked at top salons in New York City and Las Vegas. Our team has earned multiple beauty awards and national recognition, including being named Best Colorist and Stylist by Las Vegas Life Magazine. Fringe Hair Art has been recognized as a Top 100 salon in the USA by Elle magazine for five consecutive years from 2011 to 2015. When Sheryl returned to Kennebunkport to open our salon, the Boston Globe covered her homecoming in an article titled Back to Her Roots.
Our Owner Operator, Michael Rideout, joined us in 2014 with 15 years of experience in Sales and Account Management for successful Maine businesses.
