Mark Efron Hair has been a main stay in southwest Minneapolis For over 39 years now. One of the reasons for this longevity, is the pre-cut consultations that are provided before anyone even picks up a comb. These consultations allow us to assess the exact needs of the client. Another feature of the salon people seem to prefer is how it is sectioned into comfortable booths, this allows for the privacy some expect and others seem to favor.

During your time at the salon, you will be taught step by step techniques that will help you produce the same results at home. Consists of a cleansing, invigorating shampoo followed by a specialty conditioner, chosen for your unique type of hair from our Parfait line of haircare products.
Cutting the hair wet to see the natural growth patterns; Drying the hair while teaching you how to achieve the same results; Cutting the hair a bit more because some hairs shrink more than others during drying; Finally, styling the hair with your choice of product and/or curling iron.
Cleansing and invigorating shampoo, conditioning treatment with our Parfait products then blow dry.

After years of being in the hair care industry, I was frustrated with the looking for, trying, and having to buy large quantities of different product lines.
All the while, hoping that they would be the products my clients were happy with and I would be satisfied using.
If I wasn't satisfied with the working qualities and costs of a product, I wouldn't feel comfortable selling them to my clients.
I was never truly satisfied.
So, I started talking to my clients about what they really liked and disliked in the products they were using.
